interesting week and a half

In the past week and a half we had the girls' first peds visit (which went awesome) and Michelle and I have both been very sick with the flu. By the grace of God the girls have stayed healthy by Grandma VW and VH taking over large portions of their care and by everyone wearing surgical masks. Michelle is finally feeling better and is able to take care of the girls, hopefully by tomorrow I will be back on my feet again.

The girls' peds visit was encouraging as doctor was very impressed by the girls' health and weight gain. Keegan was 6 lbs. 6 oz., Samantha was 5 lbs., and Maggie was 4 lbs. 10 oz. Michelle and I had fun taking the girls out for the first time, but we realized how much energy and time it takes to get the girls packed up and somewhere on time. I don't think we will be making any unnecessary trips any time soon.

Sorry to hear you were so sick:( I'm sure the grammy(s) enjoyed their extra time with the girls though. Glad to hear their appointments went so well & the girls are continuing to grow & be healthy! I can certainly understand not wanting to take unnecessary trips...I can't seem to make it on time & I only have one...although if you ask others I'm sure they would tell you that it has NOTHING to do with the baby;) Anyway, love the pics & updates! Keep them coming when you get the time. We're here to help with ANYTHING...just let us know. Tim is eager to cook more meals for you:) Take care! Love, Amanda

I'm sorry you both got the flu... I hope you are both feeling much better soon. I'm sure the grandma's enjoyed their time with the girls though. I can not belive how much the girls are growing. I can not even begin to imagine how long it takes to get the girls ready and loaded into a vehicle and then unloaded. Thank you Thad & Michelle for keeping us updated and for all the pics. The girls are so precious :-) Let us know when you are ready for food!!

WOW these girls just keep getting cuter and bigger...good job Mom & Dad & Grandmas!! I LOVE the pictures...I too check the blog at least twice a day...I continue to marvel at the beautiful gifts God has given you and seeing the pictures reminds me to continually pray for them and all of their caregivers. Keep up the good work and remember we are here to help whenever and with whatever you guys need!!
Love you, Liz

Your girls are so beautiful! Really! They have perfect little faces! They don't even look like the usual preemie looks!

I too had to wear masks for awhile. It stinks!

As far as packing the girls for outings... it only gets worse! Today I had to pack, unpack, & pack again: 3 bags, 3 pack-n-plays (including setup), 3 sets of bottles, and food - Just for an afternoon at my parents' cottage! That involves about 10 trips back and forth from the van. No wonder I'm scrawny now!

SOOOO gorgeous. Seriously...what amazing little faces. Nice work, parents.

Just keep in mind...we have many acres and a slightly neglected dog that would love to hang out with Moby if that would in any way help y'all out. We watched Abe's brother for over a week the last time a baby came around, so I'm not kidding.

Hope you all feel better soon...

We have been praying for health in your home. I hope things started looking up for you. Good thing you have such adorable babies to brighten your day when you are feeling yuck! Thanks for the pictures...Chloe asks every day if she can see Aunt Michelle's babies on the computer. They are so sweet.

Love ya,
Kristy, Chloe, and Bryce

Amazing! I love seeing the updated pictures of the girls. We also love hearing about you and how things are going. I hope you continue to feel better quickly! Being sick is never fun, especially with the flu. But I can't imagine being sick with three little ones at home too.

I think my favorite picture was the three girls in the Jeep! How adorable. I can only imagine how a trip to the doctor's office was exciting, overwhelming, scary, encouraging, and all kinds of emotions mixed togehter. Just know that we (and many others) keep you in our daily prayers. Please let us know when your freezer is becoming empty so Brad and I can restock it! I am anxious to schedule a visit!!!
