van van update

things that have happened over the past few days:

  • the girls are sleeping in four hour blocks of time at night (one less feeding at night is a wonderful thing)
  • samantha & maggie keep looking more and more alike as maggie starts to catch-up in the weight department, so toenails have been painted
  • the girls' "czechoslovakian" grandma is still staying with us and she is a lifesaver every day
  • reflux is not fun. blow outs are not fun. baths ARE fun
  • everything seems to have batteries (i.e. swings, seats, noise makers, etc.) so we have invested in rechargeable batteries to cut down on the waste
  • the girls' are starting to get to know their extended family
  • we have learned the true meaning of exhaustion!!!
  • thank you for everyone who has provided meals, i don't think we'd be eating otherwise
  • we had our first date without the girls, it was hard being away from the girls, but eating at SanChez and knowing the girls' grandmas were watching the girls made it just a little bit easier

You guys seem to be doing awesome! I can't even imagine what the "true meaning of exhaustion" means for you, but you have three gorgeous girls! I hope that gives you the energy to keep going! Glad you have so much loving family near by. You all look fabulous!

Love all the pics! Especially the ones with Mommy & Daddy in them:) Even though you may be exhausted, you certainly don't show it! Parenthood must be agreeing with you both;) We'll continue to pray for your health & strength so you can continue to take such great care of your beautiful girls! Let us know if you have any special requests for meals. Love, Amanda

I am glad to see the girls are now giving you an extra hour between feedings. Even though you say your tired the pics sure do not show it... they show to very loving and happy parents and family members :-)
